It\'s alright, nothing special and has a resemblance to the \'89 away shirt but why couldn\'t Nike use this design for the home shirt instead and KEEP THE WHITE SLEEVES?

what\'s that? Look at last year\'s shirt! It was a masterpiece, one of the best jersey\'s I\'ve ever seen in my life! But neither the colors nor their patterns of 08/09 kit come anywhere near last year\'s masterpiece. INasri will look like a canary in this, not like a footballer.

Last season\'s away kit was a disgrace.

Arsenal have never worn white bar one season about 50 years ago.

To use Herbert Chapman\'s name to market it was shocking too, for he never would have allowed his Arsenal team to wear Tottenham white.

Why do we need an away shirt? There were 2 released last season and I\'ll be pissed off if I\'ve spent £45 on the 3rd shirt to see it disappear after one season. I think all football fans are being conned when it comes to new kits, for why is there a need to change them so constantly? There is very rarely £45 of difference and if you were to buy 2 new shirts each year you are looking at around a £90 investment, something I find offensiveto fans everywhere.

\"Nasri will look like a canary\"

You realise Arsenal have worn yellow for their away shirt since the 1950s?? White shirts have only been worn once and is a hideous marketing coup.

Nice shirt, best away shirt we\'ve had in a long time. Agree with Fred that this design should have also been used for the home shirt.

no, its the colour well be wearing when we crush your dreams of finishing higher than us for the god know how many season in a row and celebrate a nice early st totteringhams day

at least this isnt a tenuos traditional link like last yearswhite shirt, theres actually a real reason for it,

i just hope they dont say that its a one year special asits forthe 20th anniversary of \'89 and actually keep it for 2 years instead of robbing us like spurs have done to their fans, 10 shirts in 3 seasons i believe,

i suppose theyre kits this season are one year commemorative carling cup ones?

When the nearest you have been to a proper trophy is a poxy mug to celebrate beating our Combination team you best stay under your rock.

Even your latest signing only wants to get some games in before he joins a big club.

Do what you do best, inbreeding, acne prevention and crying at home games..

As long as we\'re back in yellow, I\'m satisfied.

The design is OK - I\'ll have to see it in person before buying. I reckon it\'ll look good.

That is what the real design will be, but a fake version (look at the badge).

0 # white sleeves dammit 2008-06-14 05:37
this is what i don\'t understand - for the away nike did all navy sleeves - why didn\'t they do the same for the home kit and do all white sleeves rather than just a stripe. finally, enough with the redcurrant already! one season to honor highbury was enough. arsenal is red/white home and yellow/blue away and possibly navy or gold as alternates. why F with tradition???

I love last season\'s white away kit. fav arsenal kit of mine so far.
I find the reason that some actually don\'t like the white because it resembles spurs white absolutely ridiculous.
Given the same logic then i suppose we should all hate our red home because man utd and liverpool are also in red.
sheesh

omg! nike\'s shirt design is going from bad to worse! why do they have to do this to arsenal? the home shirt is bad enough and they make such an ugly away shirt!!!

I think it\'s pretty cool. For what it\'s worth, I also think that the home shirt\'s pretty nice too and on tv it\'ll give something of the impression that the sleeves are in fact still white. And the redcurrant is a nice touch.

I ALSO think that they\'ve gone with gold because last season \"leisure\" (or whatever) top was so popular with fans.

That\'s one of the Thailand fakes. Look how uneven the printing is on the collar. The colors are also wrong, it should be red and not red currant, wrong shade of yellow as well.

This is, without a doubt, the worst looking away shirt I\'ve seen for Arsenal in a looooong time. I hate Yellow and Blue for away colors. I don\'t care that Yellow is a traditional color. We do not need to share colors with chelski and liverpool. We need a unique Arsenal away color. There should be some goddamn red in it somewhere...not just a single stripe. I wish we had silver and red for away colors...sigh.

Our kits this season are rubbish. I won\'t be buying either of them.

Why is yellow and blue not unique for the Arsenal away kit? We have worn it for 40+ years or something and it doesn\'t resemble liverpool and chelsea a bit.

The away kit is well designed and resembles the \'89 kit and nice to see some proper colour, after one year of commemorating Herbert Chapman with a spurs shirt!

And get used to them folks, we are gonna see these kits for the next two years.

Away shirt is awful:
1. Yellow shade is completely wrong - Almost mustard color.
2. Adding Red to Yellow & Navy just looks ugly
3. Why do they make it more difficult than it needs to be - Just use Yellow and Bright Blue (from 70s away kits). If they replicated White/Maroon kit from last season using these colors it would look amazing!

We did in \'89 and \'02, two years that we won the league. I wasn\'t a fan at the time but you can at least look up your club\'s history ffs
