FC St. Pauli unveiled their new Home and Away kits made by Do You Football for the 2008/09 season. The brown-black-striped shirts with rough zigzag seams and skull symbol on the collar and brown shorts and socks will be the home kit and the white one will be used for away games.
As in the past few seasons Do You Football equipment exclusively created and developed the new kits together with FC St. Pauli. "With the new shirt, we want show the close ties between the association and the district.", said Christian Bönig, team manager of FC St. Pauli.
In the past three seasons the unique club shirts are very pupular with the fans, but last season the club sold 22,000 shirts, a new club record. "The shirts of FC St. Pauli are unmistakable, rebellious and extraordinary as his fans. "said Bernd funds, managing director of Do You Football.
