It was only when the Premier league started that we wore any other colours (with the exception of a few months in 1933). They are also the colours of the Union flag and of a few other countries besides than the USA. As for being unimaginative, what else could they have done? It's based on the plain blue European Cup final shirt from 1968, why ruin it with anything complicated? It could have been even plainer without the pointless MUFC on the neck, really. Reply | Quote
