Villa Fan  - Kits   |2008-07-05
It would be better if Villa would have made jersey like of Valencia ( Best in the world )
Villa Fan  - Transfers   |2008-07-05
Aston Villa should buy Joaquin Sanchez Rodriguez for 15m Euro and roman pavlychenko for 12m Euros. One is the best one of the best winger in the world and another the one of the great striker which villa can afford economically. If they transfer these 2 players they would surely finish in top 4.
Rodger  - Agreement   |2008-07-05
I agree with Villa fan. Valencia's kit is one of the best, villa should have made similar ones.
Villa Fan  - transfers   |2008-07-05
O 'niel please buy joaquin & pavlychenko. Let barry go on 17m. It is not good to keep the palyer against his will besides u are getting quite a good amount of money next season his rating is not going to be more than 6m. He is going to be super flop lady in liverpool. He is going regret his decision of joining liverpool.

Giorgios Papaloukas     |2008-07-04
Aston Villa's sponsor of last year was a company of bet. This year the sponsor is a company who cares four chealdrens, good change.
Anonymous   |2008-07-04
The collars a bit out of date (looks like the collar used on England away kit 2002) apart from that nice
Andrew Wood   |2008-07-04
dont get me wrong happy about the sponsor but that is the only good thing it really will take a long time to grow on me

avatar Very nice shirt! Aston Villa shirts are always nice.
roger   |2008-07-04
avatar I think nike did a good job. However this looks better than the previous kit.
greg   |2008-07-04
that is freakin stupendous

This Is Bullshit
johnnycakes   |2008-07-04
avatar reminds me of a hummel strip they had in the early 90's,quite nice.
Macca   |2008-07-04
To much like the dirty dingles burnley shirt
Derby boy   |2008-07-04
thats a shocker for villa.
nike have been shite for shirts this season, last seasons nike shirts were top quality.
Gareth Morris  - Mr   |2008-07-04
It is OK but that is as far as i would go. I might buy one.
KRAP   |2008-07-04
I like that they didn't go mad with the design, like the badge... simple crisp and clean. My only critique is the cuffs should have had a claret band otherwise it's a good shirt
Joe   |2008-07-04
The sponsor is too big
rik   |2008-07-04
looks like a cheap and nasty 2nd division top from 10 years ago.

i didnt like last seasons top, but that is way better than this wet spam spin off crap!
Masterpiece   |2008-07-04
Nice, but nothing special. Considering it is Nike, they should have done a better job.

it looks fake it doesnt look like a nike shirt it looks cheap
jack   |2008-07-04
Yawwwwwwwn........sorry, i fell asleep as soon as i saw yet another unconvincing shirt by the villans. Fair play to it bein charity but it doesnt need to be so dismal! have a picture of an acorn at least! Please! The villains had a tasty away kit last year but judging from this shirt i wont be expecting much 1/5.
P.S I am not a brummy but my team will kick villa's arse on the first day of the season!
Russel1311   |2008-07-04
They care for far more than four chealdrens. It's strange after years of Deadly Doug, and seeing ruthless foreign owners coming in buying English clubs, that we seem to have a really good man in Randy Learner. He actually does seem to be willing to put the club and the local area before his own business aims.
Matthew Brookes   |2008-07-04
Awful shirt but the villa can play anything.
s.o.t.c.fc   |2008-07-04
its way better than small heaths down the road....the scummy fxxkers.

Happy Days!

enjoy your season in the fizzy pop league.lol....

Bad, Bad, Bad. ...... And it could have been so much better.....................
steff   |2008-07-04
las years kit was nicer.

dodgy collar colur.
villa fan   |2008-07-04
hate the badge. Cant even makeout the lion. And is it so hard to just write "Aston Villa"

shirt - nothing special 2/5
Si  - Not sure   |2008-07-04
I'm not sure about this one, would perfer the acorns logo to have an actual acorn in it, coller looks abit wrong. Sort of the same as last years kit, was looking for a bit more variance, loved the away kit last year!

Still going to get it though no matter what it looks like.

I'm an advertisers dream!

Villa Till I Die!!

What happened to the homo shirts? Yes yes i know I`m very witty so dont give me that shit again
Anonymous   |2008-07-04
This shirt is fake, probably in photoshop, just look around the collar and the N on acorns then you will be able to tell
Chater1703   |2008-07-04
haha........yawwnnnnnnnnn.... i nearly fell asleep listening to that rubbish coming out your mouth
Jeff   |2008-07-05
I wish nike made consistent fitting jerseys. the only ones that rarely change are man u, chelsea...they dont care about other epl teams? i order everything in mediums but EVERY year EVERY brand (umbro, adidas, puma) seem to all fit different...its rubbish.
JBW   |2008-07-05
Terrible. Looks like a Burnley shirt.
Anonymous   |2008-07-05
not bad
HAMMOND   |2008-07-05

Your about as funny as aids.
wez_avfc1983   |2008-07-05
Love the idea villa have forgone a sponsor and advertising a charity, but little dissapointed with nike for the shirt design. Its basic, does not set a powerful image the Villa are an ambitious club. Common nike lets hope the away kit is better. 4 out of 10
WHITES  - It's a FAKE!   |2008-07-05

I have heard from a good source that this is a fake.

The main k9it, to be revealed Monday has a blue vertical strip running down the body where the AVFC badge is and the acorns sponsor logo has hospice trust underneath.

Anyway, whatever it's like I'll be buying it and wearing it with pride next season.

Let's just all be patient and wait until Monday - Brindley Place 2pm.
Des barlow  - bought my'n   |2008-07-05
I've pre ordered and paid for my'n, but if I'd seen it first there would have been no rush to get one. no style and even less imagination on the part of the designer. or is it being kept simple so as to make more profit on an already hyped up price of a very cheaply made garment?????????
Anonymous   |2008-07-05
shockin'.... i hope its fake, somebody tell me it is!!
Naj   |2008-07-05
Not the best, but I always prefer the simpler designs.
Sab   |2008-07-05
hmmmmm i'm not sure about this one, i'm pretty disappointed with this shirt compared to last years amazing home & away kits, im going to be praying that this shirt won't be unveiled as the new strip on monday but if it is........then it'll grow on me, just like the new crest did last season
Anonymous   |2008-07-05
BORING and DULL.
so is your mum   |2008-07-05
wicked wicked wicked wicked
mitchell   |2008-07-06
best kit in the league nothing better than it in the world
deano  - dont like it     |2008-07-06
as a hard up villa fan i pray to god this is fake, we have come to far last season to go and wear a shit top like that, i [ray and hope that this is a fake, i will pray every night till its release please all join me in prayer
deano  - i just thought     |2008-07-06
i just thought lol, this is blatently a fake for one very good reason, you cant jusy have the word ACORNS written on it, ppl not in the know will just think acorn nuts , they will have to have childrens hospice written underneath it so decipher that its a charity / company

its the same as having 32RED on the shirt instead of 32RED.com without the .com no one would know therefore destroying the fact of what sponsering is about to give more exposure on your company
DannyBoy   |2008-07-06
I'd say this is definetly real.

One thing though the material looks different to the fabric that nike have been usuing on their current shirts, the spheredry stuff.

This seems flat and shiny like nike training kits that would be my only reason not to think its real
shit on the city!!  - wtf   |2008-07-07
wtf is that ive seen better mock shirt that that!!
looks like a blind man wid no fashion sence did it!!
