Hull City revealed the brand new Umbro Tigers home kit for the 08/09 Barclays Premier League campaign. The club are confident that the black and amber striped strip will prove popular with supporters when it goes on sale.

The Umbro shirt is designed to be both visually imposing and performance enhancing, being anatomically cut to enhance the athleticism of the player. The twill mesh body fabric is lightweight and breathable and for added comfort the neckline has no exposed seams. You'll find the 08/09 away kit here.

Come on! Why did they change it? They should have the plain orange one another year as it was one of the best shirts i\'ve ever seen! Still, this one is ok, but I like the other one more!

this is an boring umbro kit, but its just gonna be another umbro template used in the premiership. can imagine west brom and sunderland having almost the same kit, just diff colours

Really pleased with this shirt but there\'s one thing that will bug me every time i see it and that\'s the positioning of the sponser. why couldn\'t they put each letter in the middle of a stripe like they have with the first letter \'O\'

One of the most terrible looking shirts i\'ve seen. Umbro just haven\'t bothered compared to other stripped shirts like sunderland\'s. Its too simple and has no design features at all

Have always been more partial to black and amber stripes than plain amber (and definately amber fading into white 98/99 style). So v.pleased we\'re going to be gracing the top flight in stripes.

This is a good solid shirt, better than the last 2 black and amber stripe incarnations (05/06 and 06/07), but not as good as the very good 04/05 promotion shirt).

If they chopped off the shoulders and round neck, it\'d be up there with the great City shirts.

I love the traditional tiger stripes, but I also agree with Matt about the placement of the sponsor. It looks sloppy.

Perfect stripes. Another win for Umbro - my fav shirt maker at the moment - never thought they would be.

As a city fan I loved last seasons. This one looks too much if you know what I mean, but like many shirts before I will grow to love it. Geovanni! Man Utd defeater!
