These are the new Leeds United Home, Away and 3rd Macron kits that will be worn by the team in the 2008/09 season. The players are already using the new training kit range supplied by Macron, and the home strip will be used in a competitive fixture for the first time against York City at KitKat Crescent on Friday evening.
The shirts will not have a sponsor for Friday night's fixture as the club have encountered a number of contractual issues with the company who had agreed and signed a two-year contract with the club on May 26 2008 to be our shirt sponsor. We are looking at resolving the outstanding issues as quickly as possible.
The club have, as a precaution, also held discussions with a number of local based companies about becoming the main shirt sponsor if the outstanding issues cannot be resolved. It is hoped to be able to make an announcement as to the shirt sponsor for the 2008/09 season within the next seven days.
Macron, the new kit suppliers, who signed a four-year contract with the club in January have had the kits ready for delivery for the last six weeks but have been delayed in supplying them whilst the new shirt sponsorship arrangement was finalised.
Full details of when the kit will be available to fans will be announced 24 hours after the shirt sponsor is announced. The kits will only be available from the shop at Elland Road.

Gutted. I queued at midnight when the Leeds' first Nike kit was released and we've fallen a long way in every respect since then.
I was hoping for something really different from a manufacturer who are relatively unknown in England, especially when there are so many templates out there from the likes of Nike and Adidas. But these are just not very imaginative. Why the Cov City (from a few seasons back) third kit???? Maybe there'll look better with a sponsor - no doubt another shockingly named company...
Still, before you give me grief, I can still say I saw my team in a Champions League semi-final, not many English fans can say that and for that small pleasure I'll put up with our present situation. We just have to put up with crap kits and more importantly crap players until we make our way up the leagues again.

Im a Leeds fan and sad to admit it but we are a 3rd division team, get over it!!! We had stripes when Asics (remember them?!) made our kits in the 90s-the famous 'I can't see the black players in night games' green and blue stripes and the yellow and blue stripes.
Come on, for f**ks sake, you can't even see the full kit on these pics, so how can any of you comment?! The home one looks ok, the away one is a nice all yellow nad the 3rd kit looks pretty good.....at least comment when we can see the full kit!!

macron want to become a leading brand in the UK and thus needed a club with enough stature to help them do so. i'm confident that as leeds move back into the upper echelons of english football, macron will become a household name. much like adidas have become synonymous with liverpool and newcastle, macron could do the same with leeds.

Not the best I've ever seen. It's all well and good saying that Macron are pouring money into the club but having shit shirts isn't going to help the finacial status much. What happens when others see the shirts, think they're shite like many of us have and don't buy them. Shirt sales are going to be really low. Surely this has to be a big part of income.
