New Roverstore ready for Saturday re-launch E-mail

Stephen Warnock and Matt Derbyshire will be on hand to officially open the new-look Roverstore on Saturday morning, to serve the first few lucky customers, and of course sign autographs for fans.

The Roverstore, which is back under control of the club, has undergone an extensive re-development over the last few weeks, but the finishing touches are now being applied to the exciting new retail outlet at Ewood Park.

A stock of official Umbro trainingwear, leisurewear and merchandising will be available for purchase, but to begin with the range will be limited, however this will be ramped up over the coming weeks with more varied stock arrivals.

Rovers’ Managing Director, Tom Finn, said: "We are very excited by the new Roverstore. It looks impressive and we believe it will prove a big hit with our supporters.

"A lot of thought has gone into the design and planning and fans will be able to see and judge for themselves from Saturday morning."

However, one part of the planned celebration – the launch of the new 08/09 away kit – has had to be delayed due to a manufacturing problem involving kit supplier Umbro.

Is there going to be a Macron superstore for you LeedsLeedsLeeds? Sounds like somewhere you could buy a fridge, or a pleasing dishwasher.

More likely to get pisswater knowing Leeds, their fans and their players.

I would have thought Rovers fans would be delighted that their clubshop is no longer listed as a Sports Soccer outlet and is back under their control again
