East Fife unveiled the new Home kit for the 08/09 season made by Hummel. The club, established in 1903, boasts a distinguished and unique history, being the first club to win the Scottish League Cup three times and the only club to win the prestigious Scottish Cup that were not a Premier League Team, which at that time was the second tier of the Scottish league structure (it is now the third tier).
East Fife are one of four senior clubs based in the Fife region but are the only one to bear the name of the area. The three other clubs are Cowdenbeath, Dunfermline Athletic and the Kirkcaldy based Raith Rovers, all of whom have historically shared rivalries with East Fife.
there's a new trend with the asymmetrical stripes (cf Manchester City's away 2008-09). It isnt a bad kit and the arrows on the side arent as annoying as the adidas' 3 stripes.
Rubbish! Pointless 'half raglan sleeve half classic sleeve'.
I'd love to see a smaller manufacturer like Hummel come up with interesting or non-try hard designs, they've an alright history, but dated experimental design ruins there image. When they relaunched, the early Hearts designs were a step in the right direction.
