Not bad... not unique but ok
KRAP   |2008-08-05
Everton do have the best looking sponsor logo though

Great Kit - Umbro are really leading the way this season for kits and even though the underlying template is the same they all have individual styling elements which make them unique for the club.
hellyes4cress   |2008-08-05
It reminds me of the Bolton shirt
boomticktickboom   |2008-08-05
Umbro must really be proud of this kit.

They went and got two peckerweight jerbronies to model it.

I can see one shot where Phil"who the hell Jagyellllka" does his usual and swipe at mid air, convincing his very soul that it's stanchion bound.

Jesus wept/weeps.

and then there's Tim Howard.
"Lads, that f'ing kit makes ya f'ing look f'ing, shit f'ing stupid. f'ing f'ing f'ing f'ing f'ing shit f'ing stupid.

and last but not least, there's Phi; "rat boy" Neville. I'll refrain from executing my full wrath on this guy, so just look at him again and think.. Would I buy a top modelled by this guy who's 5 stone wet through and puffs his chest like his Jordan?

Making fun of someone with Tourettes... very clever of you
Russ   |2008-08-06
tim howard doesn't have vocal tourettes, he has motor tourettes. way to get that reference wrong AND way to make fun of someone for something they have no control over.
adam   |2008-08-06
you're an ass.
Anonymous   |2008-08-08

If you actually watched football you would know that Phil Jagielka was one of the best defenders in the prem last season
WALTER   |2008-08-06
Everton , worst kits in the premiership.
DKool   |2008-08-06
Ok, so they copy last season's West Ham away kit and we r supposed to say "wow". Plus, what's with the grey stripe? Umbro just can't stop decaying
Tim   |2008-08-06
What are you on about? West Ham and Everton's away kits for THIS season have the same template but that's because both clubs kits are made by Umbro. There's no "copying" going on.

Anyway, shirt would look better if the sponsor was one of the colours of the rest of the kit and not green.
SparksNL   |2008-08-06
I'm starting to dislike the current run of Umbro kits, what with their double-diamond logo suffering from continental drift (it will be on the back of the right sock by 201, the slightly-too-high club crests and the over-use of the same few design features for too many clubs.

Yeah other manufacturers re-use styling too, but it's not quite so in-your-face as this double breast stripe. The first thing I see here is an Umbro kit rather than an Everton kit.

Okay, so it's only the away kit, but hands up who remembers the salmon and blue affair from the mid 90's. Whether or not you liked it is another issue, but it was definitely Everton's. Staying in that era, and with Umbro, the same was true for Forest's blue away with the green collar (Collymore era), the Man U black kit, the Man City pinstriped affair, and so on.

A couple of years ago I was wishing that Umbro would make a significant comeback at club level. Guess the old adage is true.

beautiful brilliant amazing !
Russel1311   |2008-08-06
That's true actually, Umro did do some memorable and individual kits, like Forest's pinstriped home shirt (Sheringham era), that yellow Everton away kit with the blue zigzag (Graeme Sharp era), the Villa home kit with the laced up collar (Dean Saunders era), the Spurs sky blue third kit with "Spurs" written across the top, the Spurs yellow away kit with the lnavy and grey pattern on the shoulder (late Lineker era)... the list goes on. Now the kits are all the same - Forest, Rangers, Hearts, West Ham etc etc :all clones.

Come on Umbro, bring back the good old days - it would surely make financial sense - the big clubs especially all have huge fan bases who would be more likely to buy a shirt that looks personalized to their own team
Jon   |2008-08-06
thats good coming from the dirty kopite at the top nice third bluey/green top uve got next season
FC Zurich   |2008-08-06
holy smokes, can everton play their first away in Black or something? and then White as a 3rd?

This is like the copy of an England away which the template(or the two stripe thing) was released like ions ago?

i mean i would like to see them in a Black kit when they play Blackburn, Howard can get his usual Green jersey in order not to clash.
Tim   |2008-08-06
How is February "Ions ago"? It's 6 months. And I think you mean "eons" BTW.
trev   |2008-08-07
i dont think it is bad, if you look at some of adidas' makes this season, including liverpool's awful grey kit and blue/green 3rd kit, chelsea's black kit and newcastles purple kit, umbro kits look cool. i like the diamonds on the back as well as the diagonal stripes on my blue everton top. its class
safc  - safc     |2008-08-07
I quite like the kid its better than some kits that they have brung out.
EnglandWorldCupWinners2010   |2008-08-07
Very nice indeed, but not quite as nice as the West Ham away kit.
