Sweden played a World Cup 1958 Anniversary match against France (2-3) yesterday, and while France was wearing their new Home adidas kit, the swedish team was wearing a Sweden World Cup 1958  Home anniversary kit to celebrate the World Cup held in Sweden 50 years ago.

Umbro supported the anniversary by producing a Swedish Home kit inspired by the kit used in 1958. On Tuesday, the kit was shown for the first time and who was more suited to launch it than Agne Simonsson.

Agne who played in five of the six World Cup matches in 1958 made both the first and last Swedish goal in the tournament.

It's a pity that they had the number on the front and the stripes on the back.
Umbro got afraid to design it just like the original 58 shirt.

Swden should have won France just by looking at their jerseys.

i doubt it will go on sale, like United's Munich anniversary kit .

The reason United's Munich anniversary kit wasn't made available for sale was that no one wanted to be seen making a profit out of the disaster... perfectly understandable.

umbro will sell this kit, a few months back it was accidentally shipped to a football shop i work at and we had to send it back to them because of the launch date

the england kit should be exactly like this - simple, classic...boom.

personally think there should be more yellow in the socks but hey...beggers can't be choosers..right!

Traditional and modern, whoever came up with this idea really knows how to make a classy kit. Far more striking

I saw it in real in Sweden, and I went even to the game by the way, but it s not that good as I thought when I saw it in real.. And as well on the shirt they used two different yellows, which doesnt suit at all cos too different! in the picture u can not see it, but i wanted to buy it and once i went to the shop i ve changed my mind!!

looking forward to the new one though!!
