It would be a Great kit if it weren\'t for the badge. The Last badge that Portsmouth got really blends into Canterbury\'s designs but this new one makes it all wrong. 4/5 tho
Portsmouth is his home...he\'s scoring goals for fun and is back in the England squad....he loves it here!
I really object to the use of the N word by a previous poster. Offensive, I\'d argue, even to white people...let alone myself. That kind of attitude has no place in football or society. End of rant.
Superb design, would be more marvelous if the club emblem wasn\'t blue but completely gold instead. Would be great for the shirt if they used a different sponsor \"brand\" instead of OKI Printing Solutions.
It looks ok to me, but I would lose the blue off the badge... it would look better with a black & gold badge. Chelsea have done this with their black kit.
This shirt also seems to lack the technological features that enhanced last season\'s Pompey kits, such as the high vis patches.
I read (possibly on this site) that Pompey were too poor to celebrate their centenary in 1998 and are making a bigger deal of their 110th anniversary.
Ten years ago Pompey were on the verge of financial collapse, and were in no position to properly celebrate their centennial season. Now they are on the verge of cracking the Big 4 and are doing very well financially, hence the celebratory kits.
Also, the kits are different this year as the home is all blue and gold instead of the customary blue white red combination, so to say that they do everything just like last year shows how little you know. Maybe you should stick to rugby too.
Great design and look....it would be PERFECT if it didn\'t have that obnoxious logo blared across the front. If ever a shirt should be sold to fans without sponsors logo it\'s this one...
my first thought was that this is a really nice top, but then read the comments and agree with some of the negative points: collar touches badge, name (on back) should be in lighter shade. But overall its still a decent design and will look good on he pitch and in \'casual\' situations for fans i.e. fat man in the pub

The colar looks a bit sloppy, like the 1st away, part of the jersey needing to cover the \"gap\". It is also touching the club crest.
I would expect the player\'s name to be put on the upper shade of black instead of below it.
Why deliberately create such a colour mismatch between badge and kit? They really could have put in a bit more effort to integrate the colours.
(I am aware that the badge is in club colours, but thankfully few other teams generate such a clash with their badge and away kit\'s colour).

looks like defoe is missing home
