Swindon Town FC announced that they have appointed adidas as the club's new official kit supplier for the next three years, commencing with the 2009/10 season.

adidas will be offering Swindon Town fans a much broader range of branded apparel and merchandise, well beyond just replica shirts and related kit.

Commenting on the arrangement, Swindon Town FC Chief Executive Nick Watkins said:

"We dedicated a considerable amount of time to determining who the new kit supplier would be for the next three years and met with a great many brands.

"The decision to appoint adidas was unanimous with the club recognising that in adidas they had identified a supplier who was totally aligned with the club's aims and ambitions.

"Furthermore, adidas is the perfect brand to partner to work alongside our sponsors, FourFourTwo and EA Sports, it is an exciting triumvirate."

The new 2009/10 home kit will be officially launched on Monday 29th June as part of the club's Midsummer Madness promotion.

The new kit will officially go on sale on Saturday 25th July at the home friendly with Cardiff City, in tandem with the opening of the re-branded and newly refurbished STFC Club Shop.

The day the Oxford can dream of Adidas, Four Four Two and EA sports associating with their joke of a club, is the day the devil is playing snowball in hell.

Probably too much of an intelligent joke for the typical OU scum fan to understand, but I\'ll leave you to think about it.

Swindon till I die!

Don\'t make me laugh Oxford, you may have a great uni but how many people that go there are actually from Oxford? It\'s Man U syndrome.

If you lot are so intelligent, why did you build your stadium with only 3 sides? OU fans foreheads are longer than the river they punt along.

Surely there must be a non-league forum you can vent your frustrations on... we are far more concerned with the opinions of real footy fans on here.

Send Beauchamp our love won\'t you

The fact that you cant even spell \'intelligence\' shows what a joke you and your insignificant Sunday league team are.

Are all Oxford fans as dumb as you? You\'ve embarrassed yourself and all the pittiful yellow and blue feckless unemplyable scum fans that you represent.

I hope you are banned from your three sided ground after making yourself and your hopeless club look even more stupid. You probably won\'t be though, as they need the numbers.

First of all, a huge LOL to Oxford United and their pathetic little football club and three stand excuse of a stadium.

It\'s funny hearing OUFC blokie mocking Swindon when actually Oxford are very close to administration. The cub is in direstraits once again and behind the scenes they are doing everything possible to spread the clubs debt over a longer period of time, AND take on a new loan.

There has even been talk of leaving the Kassam Stadium to reduce costs. That though is in the early stages of discussion.

Personally, Oxford United is a horrible little club with poisonous support.

Swindon on the other hand is a nice club. Certainly bigger than Oxford, and back on the up. Many of us at Reading are hopeful they can win promotion next season to the Championship! While Oxford, we hope, disolve!!!

Congrats to Swindon on the Adidas deal. You sods! While we\'re stuck with Puma.
Have you seen our new home kit? Horrible!!

Good luck for the new season Swindon!

Here\'s to Oxford United hopfully staying in NON-LEAGUE FOOTBALL for many many years to come.

Yours lovingly,
Hob Nob Anyone? Royals.org
