Adelaide United FC announced that Jim’s Plumbing will be the club’s new main shirt sponsor and Major Partner.
A branch of the thriving Jim’s Group, which has over 3,000 franchisees nationwide, Jim’s Plumbing joins The Reds for the remainder of the current Hyundai A-League season, with the view of a possible extension to the agreement.
Managing Director of Jim’s Plumbing, David Ellingsen, says the affiliation with the Adelaide United brand, runs with the similar community and family values that the company holds as a high priority.
“It will give us the exposure on a national level and expand our branding of Jim’s Plumbing and also the Jim’s Group. It’s quite a large business and with Adelaide United being a national brand identity, it should go well hand in hand together,” Mr Ellingsen said.
“The Jim’s brand did not want to be associated with other forms of sport that are making the media for all the wrong reasons, and we felt with Adelaide United it had the same sort of values and family values that we as a Jim’s Plumbing and Jim’s Group endorse and have.”
On the partnership, Adelaide United CEO Sam Ciccarello said, “We thank Jim’s Plumbing for the confidence that they have shown in Adelaide United in their commitment as the club’s major sponsor, and we look forward to a long and successful partnership with David and his team.”
“David and his team have recognised that support for football and Adelaide United continues to grow in Adelaide – we’re excited about the deal and look forward to promoting the Jim’s Plumbing brand around Australia.”
The Jim’s Group originally started with lawn mowing and has now diversified into nearly every area in the service industry, in which Jim’s Plumbing is one major facet of the company’s growing empire.
The Reds’ squad will wear Jim’s Plumbing on the front of the club’s playing strip for the first time against the Central Coast Mariners tomorrow night at Hindmarsh Stadium.

Well done Adelaide United, a great coup for the club.
Meanwhile I\'m going to sit back and enjoy the sunshine while I freely use terms such as \"blackboard\" and \"mastering\" an art without fear of some PC fanatic suing me!
Yes mate, good come back! I think I\'ll watch the Aussie highlights package, it\'s a lot briefer viewing! :side:
I guess it will all come out in the wash eventually.
I await the flood of abuse that this website will soon be awash with.
P.S I\'m glad the silly Premier League logos aren\'t on the front of the shirt like this. It\'s looks ugly.
The front needs to be kept how it was!!!
There won\'t be relocating franchise scenarios as the clubs all have a central geographic headquarters on which to build their fanbase.
