History of Bukta sportswear in this promo video. For over 125 Years, Bukta kit has been worn by British Football and Rugby Union teams. The brand's heritage dates back to 1879 when it was established by Edward Buck and Sons.
Nottingham Forrest were the first football team to take the plunge and wear Bukta kit in 1884 and throughout the 1930's Bukta supplied kits to the majority of Division 1 clubs including the Arsenal side that won the FA Cup in the 1933/34 season.
Bukta kit has been proudly worn by football icons including George Best, Booby Charlton and Jimmy Greaves. It has also dressed top UK football clubs including Manchester United. Bukta was popular in the 1970's and 80's. Ajax even wore Bukta kit when they won the European Cup in 1971/72/73. The Ajax team at that time included the famous Johan Cruyff.
Bukta had moved away from its functional sports roots and focused on becoming a fashion brand however the company is making ambitious moves to re-establish the brand in the area that it is most famous for - the sportswear market.
