West Brom Albion’s players showed their support for this year's Poppy Appeal during Saturday's incident-packed draw with Blackburn.
West Brom Albion are offering you a unique chance to bag a Baggies match shirt from the 2-2 draw and, at the same time, raise money for the Royal British Legion.
Up for grabs in the latest official auctions are the specially-designed jerseys, featuring embroidered poppies, worn by Tony Mowbray's 18-man squad during the Hawthorns clash with Rovers.Most importantly, all proceeds from the auctions will go to the 2008 Poppy Appeal.
The shirts on offer include those worn by the 14 players who made it onto the field (Scott Carson, Gianni Zuiverloon, Ryan Donk, Jonas Olsson, Paul Robinson, Robert Koren, Jonathan Greening, Borja Valero, James Morrison, Roman Bednar and Ishmael Miller plus subs Carl Hoefkens, Chris Brunt and Luke Moore) and the four unused subs (Dean Kiely, Marek Cech, Do-heon Kim and Pele).
To make each jersey even more collectable, they will get the player who wore it to sign it - both on the front and back.Every shirt will come with an official Albion certificate of authenticity.The bidding for each jersey is now underway.
