kit-design-contest-1.jpg

Our competition to design a Nike kit for Poland is now closed to new entries.

A HUGE thank you to everyone who entered. With over 200 designs, the amount of submitted entries has been phenomenal and just looking over the designs the quality is absolutely superb.  For the judges, the task of choosing a winner is pretty daunting.

The winning design will be announced on Sunday (21/12/08) and the designer will be contacted by email so if you don't hear from us then check back here to see who won.  Also, if you didn't enter then don't worry.  There will be a new competition soon where you'll have another opportunity to demonstrate your skills so keep an eye out for that.

Again, thank you from all at DesignFootball.com and fingers crossed for Sunday.

Man alive, I must say how impressed I am with the standard of these designs! I am no more than your average joe in these matters, but the range of designs is excellent. Some are extremely bold, some are traditional, most are within the Nike minimalist trend whichever they are, and when I compare these to some of the drab templates used by major manufacturers, I can\'t help wondering... unless you\'re tied to three stripes or a shedload of diamonds, couldn\'t these kinds of designs be used at least for the strips we see week in week out ? I think of the Coventry City three Puma kits vote for next season, for example - how dull they are, when there is innovative design here right under their nose!!!!

Gervillian, I couldn\'t agree more. Let\'s just say, with fingers crossed, watch this space.

There were some great designs uploaded including some with a unique template, but at the same time I was shocked at how many people ripped off stuff from other manufacturers. lol
