Hamilton Academical announced a unique major sponsorship deal with one of Nigeria's top companies Shoreline Energy International who have agreed to sponsor the club's two away strips for 2009 - 10.

Shoreline Energy International is a company owned by a group of young dynamic Africans. The company's core business is in power and infratructure with operations spanning several African countries.

The groups strategy is to be a leading consolidator and operator in key infrastructure, Energy, Power and Construction sectors within Africa. They partner with leading international companies to leverage their asset base across Africa.

The group is led by Mr Kola Karim who has steered its startegy and said today:

"We are delighted to have our name associated with Hamilton Academical Football Club. We admire their strategy in developing players from around the world and especially their commitment to youth and their local community. We look forward to a long term partnership with the club."

Shoreline has grown rapidly through strategic acquisitions in the Nigerian Infrastructure Sector. Key acquisitions include ABB Electrical Systems (Nigeria), Costain (West Africa), Schlumberger Testing and Production (Nigeria - 17%), Premier Paints plc (Nigeria), and Alumaco plc.
