Rangers Football Club has today announced a new shirt sponsorship deal with 32Red – a online casino company. 32Red will sponsor Rangers for the next three seasons starting from July 2014.

This new partnership with Rangers will provide 32Red with a strategic platform to further increase awareness of their brand providing the online casino company with extensive visibility in the stadium bowl and across the Club’s digital and media platforms as well as access to Scotland’s largest football fanbase. 32Red have previously sponsored English Premiership sides Aston Villa and Swansea.

“We look forward to working closely with them over the next three seasons in a partnership that we believe will be hugely beneficial to both parties.

“We are in the process of rebuilding Rangers Football Club and alliances with blue chip companies such as 32Red will assist us on our journey back to the top of Scottish football.

“We would like to thank our current shirt sponsor Blackthorn and Tennent Caledonian Breweries for their ongoing support of the Club during a very difficult period.”

Ed Ware CEO of 32Red commented: “We are delighted to be working with Rangers Football Club and look forward to being part of the continued rise and return of the Club.

“32Red has a history of successful football club sponsorship deals and we look forward to the next three seasons and our new and proud association with a club with such heritage and potential."

Look forward to seeing how it looks on our strips next season, just hope it's a better quality than the blackthorn on this seasons.

Fancy that, some bitter fans still can't stop talking about Rangers...

BACK TO THE KIT: it's refreshing to see Rangers not being sponsored by an alcohol sponsor. Fair enough it's still a 'vice' that's sponsoring the team now but I'd rather have an online casino over booze. Should fit onto the shirt nicely.
