In a double move Watford Football Club has today (Thursday) announced Swiss International sportswear manufacturer BURRDA as its new official Club Sponsor and Kit Supplier.
The two year deal will see BURRDA supply home and away kits each season, plus an exclusive range of branded training wear. As new Club Sponsor the BURRDA identity will also feature on the Club's branding assets including areas within Vicarage Road stadium, the official website, tickets and matchday programme.
The new home kit design will be unveiled on 1 June on the club website and will be available to pre-order immediately with delivery in early July. Season Ticket holders will also receive an exclusive discount when making their purchase during the pre-order period.
The contract with Watford is BURRDA's second UK football deal after recently signing up Premier League side Wolves. It already boasts an impressive portfolio of international sports clubs and in the Middle East it currently provides kits for the Kuwait and Qatar national teams.
Graham Taylor, Watford's Chairman, said: "Today's announcement marks the start of a partnership which we're sure will add genuine value to the Club and for our fans far beyond just its monetary worth.
"We've built a very strong relationship with BURRDA over the last few months and are genuinely excited by their plans to quickly become a major global kit supplier.
"They have a very clear vision and by investing in Watford as Official Club Sponsor, on top of the kit supply agreement, we are not only pleased to be working with them at the start of their journey, but will be doing all we can to help develop their brand for the duration of our relationship which we hope will be a long and prosperous one."
