Macclesfield Town have unveiled the new home shirt for next season - 07/08. The shirt has been made by our friends at A-Line so expect another high quality shirt.

Lifelong fan Colin Farnworth (the man on the mic on Silkmen World) helped with the design after winning the competition run by the official site earlier this year.

My first impressions of it are good and I am sure the majority of fans will like it. For those not liking it.... I think it will grow on you.

Amsterdam, 18 apr 2007 In honor of the 60ste birthday of Johan Cruijff, today a week from now, the management and council of commissioners of Ajax decided to 'retire' the shirt number 14 for good.

This has announced chairman John Jaakke during a birthdays dinner with the club leadership and Cruijff. With the symbolic transfer of the shirt to Johan Cruijff, 'number 14' will never been given to any player from the first team ever again.

Huddersfield Town have revealed the kit that will be worn by Andy Ritchie's blue and white army next season!

For Town's new 2007/08 home kit, manufacturer Mitre have struck an arresting blend between the traditional and the modern.

The design has a classical look which is combined with a unique, technologically advanced 'Cool Fit' system.

The system is designed to be lightweight to give freedom of movement and has mesh panels down the side are positioned to allow heat to dissipate and cooler air to circulate whilst body moisture is transferred from the skin to the mesh.

Naturally, the shirt encompasses all of the vital aspects of any Huddersfield Town kit, along with some interesting new design features.

The most important part of the shirt is the traditional blue and white stripes which are noticeably different to last season.

Derby County will team up with adidas next season! The Rams have entered into a five-year agreement with the world's leading sports brand who will supply team and staff kit and branded merchandise including replica kit.

"We are absolutely delighted," said Derby County managing director Mike Horton, "as adidas is a brand renowned for quality and that will appeal to our fans.

Brazilian right full back Juliano Belletti, scorer of the wining goal in last season's Champions League final against Arsenal, has donated his goal scoring boots to the Barca Museum.

Belletti scored the 2-1 winner in the final and the original boots are on display in the Barca Museum next to the shiny European Cup won in Paris in May. Belletti has signed the right boot, the one he used to shoot and beat Arsenal´s goalkeeper Manuel Almunia to win the European trophy for Barca. Belletti dedicated the left boot to the museum, including the 2-1 result and "Barca!" written on it.

Having shown supporters a view of the new home kit from the back last week, the club are now giving supporters their first on-line view from the front!

The strip was shown in the Western Gazette, with it being agreed that they could give the first exclusive showing, but now it is also here for all to see!

As you can see from Terry Skiverton's picture above, the green and white hoops are still alive and kicking and will be gracing Huish Park, as well as hopefully Championship stadiums too next season and beyond.

The lads will be wearing the new kit for the first time at the home match with Doncaster Rovers on Saturday the 28 of April 2007.

Commercial manager Dave Linney said today that supporters can order the new kit from Monday of April 2007, with it being ready for collection during the week leading up to the game with Rovers.

Finally Mr. Goal is on the air again as of March 1st 2007 at

A really wonderful moment for the mascot who loves football and that's because for the first time since 1994 is totally complete!!!

Yes, it's true, Mr. Goal was designed for the first time in the summer of 1994 by designer Pavlos Pavlidis. From it's early beginning the mascot showed it's ability. Everyone who sees him loves him right away.

Among them are the Greek National team's super star and European Champion Vassilis Tsartias and a super star of the world's football, one of the greatest players ever, the captain of European Champions (then, Milan) and Italian National Team as well, Franco Baressi.
