The history of football club "Lokomotiv"(Moscow) dates back to 1923 when the Club named after the October revolution (KOR) was formed. It united the strongest football players of several roads of the Moscow railway junction. In the late 20s - early 30s KOR constantly figured as one of the strongest football collectives of Moscow.

It was renamed to Kazanka (Moskovskaya-Kazanskaya Zh.D) in 1931, and eventually to Lokomotiv in 1936. During the existence of the USSR Lokomotiv Moscow club was a part of the Lokomotiv Voluntary Sports Society.

The outfit of the Russian football club Lokomotiv FC is currently made by adidas. Dmitriy Sychev, Diniar Bilyaletdinov and Marat Izmailov took part in a photo session with the German technical sponsor of Lokomotiv FC.

Pictures were taken of them wearing the new 2007 -2008 home and away kits on tuesday morning 05.03.2007.

The results of this session you will be able to see in Adidas shops, aswell as on billboards around the city and at Lokomotiv's ground.

In the match at Cliftonhill against Stenhousemuir, Albion rovers fans have seen the launch of the strip to commemorate the 125th anniversary of the club.

It seems the colours are not, as previously thought revert to the pre-1961 colors of blue and white. Instead they turn to be red and yellow. The kit was modelled at half-time by a player, the club hope to wear it for real in the last (barring play-offs) match of the season at home to East Stirlingshire on 28th April.

Feyenoord released pictures of the new 07/08 home and away kit. The club kit will be sponsored by Fortis and produced by Kappa, like this season.

The away kit of Feyenoord for the season 2007/2008 gets the color black. At the front of the away shirt in the middle are vertical red-white stripes. The original club colours green-white-green are integrated in the collar of the shirt in a subtle manner, but will be replaced to another spot on the shirt. Rumors are that the shirt will get a golden feyenoord logo on the chest to celebrate 100 years of football in the town in 2008. But feyenoord officials have said that the golden Feyenoord logo will return in the 2008/2009 season.

Its been reported in Brazil that Adidas is to test Nike's commitment as CBF sponsor allegedly offering three times the amount currently offered by Nike.

The CBF and Nike prolonged their contract last year, signing up until 2018. However, there's nothing to stop a pre-contract been signed.

Collectors of Ajax matchworn shirts will try to get their hands on the one-off match worn Ajax shirts sponsored by Florius, which they worn today, April 1st 2007.

Mortgage company Florius was a one time shirt sponsor of Ajax Amsterdam during todays competition match Ajax - Heracles Almelo (3-0)

This initiative has been taken for the introduction of Florius as the new mortgage brand of the Dutch ABN AMRO Mortgages Group, that on 19 March officially has been launched.

Especially for this one time occasion, the more greater part of the expressions, on which generally the names ABN AMRO are mentioned, like boarding, commercials and the clothing of the first team are changed to Florius.

Fiat signed a memorandum-of-understanding with Juventus Football Club to become the 'official sponsor' of Juventus in all competitions for three years from July 1, 2007.

At the end of last year, Olinvest BV, owner of the Tamoil petrol station chain, ended talks on a revamped sponsorship deal after Juventus' relegation to Serie B in match-fixing allegations.

'The memorandum foresees a fixed payment for Juventus of 33 mln eur plus a variable amount determined by sporting results in national and international competitions,' Fiat said in a statement

The 2007/08 season will see Rochdale AFC celebrate 100 years of professional football in the town and to honour this achievement they will be reverting back to a replica of the kit worn in 1907.

Rochdale's home colours are blue shirts, blue shorts and blue socks. The first ever Rochdale kit was black and white striped shirts with white shorts, believed to be influenced by Newcastle United, who were one of the best teams in England at the time. Dale have reintroduced this striped kit for the centenary year, starting with the last home match of the 06/07 season against Hartlepool United on 28th April when at Spotland.

In 1949, Dale switched from stripes to the current blue kit, but it is unknown what the reasons were for this. Other kits have included white shirts with black shorts, white shirts with blue shorts and a blue shirt with white sleeves. Current Rochdale kits and training gear are manufactured by Nike.

The Dale have had sponsored shirts since 1983, the most notable sponsor being Carcraft. They are currently sponsored by MMC Estates, a housing company that currently is working in the Spodden Valley area. Other former sponsors include All-in-One Garden Centre, Smith Metals and Keytech.
