St Patrick's Athletic have today announced that Nissan will become the club's new main sponsor and the company's name will feature on the front of the players' jerseys for the 2010 season.

"Nissan has been at the forefront of Irish Motoring for over 30 years and we are honoured to have the support of such a high profile brand, especially in these difficult times", said Saints' Commercial Manager Phil Nolan.

Commenting on the partnership Paul O'Sullivan, Marketing Director Nissan Ireland said, "Nissan has always had a close association with St Patrick's Athletic and we are delighted now to become the club's main sponsor.

Ipswich Town have unveiled an all black away kit for next season, with skipper Jon Walters and the players backing the new look.

The kit is black with white piping and mesh inserts and was selected by Town boss Roy Keane and the first-team squad as the look for 2010/11.

Jon is already a fan and said: "I've always thought black looks good for an away shirt. The players like it and I'm sure the fans will as well."

Town's Retail Manager, Elaine Hull, added: "The last black shirt proved to be the most popular away shirt we've ever produced."

Nike unveiled the new Brazil 10/12 home kit which is designed for increased performance with lower environmental impact. 8 plastic bottles are used to produce one jersey in the new Nike kit, which  will be available through the FSC Shop

To make the 2010 national team kits, Nike’s fabric suppliers sourced discarded plastic bottles from Japanese and Taiwanese landfill sites and then melted them down to produce new yarn that was ultimately converted to fabric for the jerseys.

Many of the world's leading players, including Cristiano Ronaldo, Robinho and Ji-Sung Park will take to the pitch in South Africa this summer wearing the most environmentally-friendly and technologically-advanced kit in football's history.

For the first time, all of Nike’s national teams, including Brazil, Portugal and The Netherlands, will be wearing jerseys made entirely from recycled polyester, each one produced from up to eight recycled plastic bottles. Nike unveiled the new national team kits with several footballers at a global media event at Battersea Power Station in London.

“This summer in South Africa Nike will give footballers an edge by providing the newest and most innovative product for the game’s greatest players,” said Charlie Denson, President, Nike Brand. “With today’s announcement, we are equipping athletes with newly designed uniforms that not only look great and deliver performance benefits, but are also made with recycled materials, creating less impact on our environment.”

Malmo FF 2010 home puma centenary shirt

Malmo FF unveiled the new 2010 Home Centenary football shirt made by Puma.

The shirt has the names of all players who represented Malmo FF over 100 years printed on the shirt to celebrate the occasion.

In total there are 652 * names of players who represented the club in at least one A -match over the last 100 years. The shirt is available as a limited edition in sizes S-XXXL in the MFF Shop from Friday morning, 10.00.

Puma and Feyenoord have unveiled the new home and away kits for the 2010/2011 season.

Ron Vlaar, Andre Bahia and Leroy Fer presented the new uniforms on a catwalk in the Maasgebouw. It was one of the highlights during an evening with many other activities for the loyal supporters.

The kits are part of the PUMA POWER collection. The shorts are inspired by both football and boxing and have a wide waist, like boxing shorts.

dynamo moscow 2010 away umbro kit

This is the new Dynamo Moscow 2010 Away football kit made by Umbro. Dynamo Moscow used their new kits in the friendly match against Aalborg.

Dynamo's traditional kit colours are blue and white. Their crest is a blue letter "D", written in a traditional Cyrillic style. The club's motto "Power in Motion" had been proposed by Maxim Gorky, the famous Russian/Soviet author who once was an active member of the Dynamo sports society.

Shamrock Rovers F.C., in conjunction with kit partners Umbro, are delighted to announce that the 2010 home kit will be released at 11am on St. Patrick's Day, March 17th.

The official launch will be at the club Megastore at Tallaght Stadium, this will feature player appearances and a signing session from 11am-12.30pm.

We showed you a leaked picture of the new kit designs last month , but today FC Bayern Munich unveiled the new 10/11 Home football kit from equipment supplier Adidas. The new 110th anniversary football kit will be used by the club starting next May.

In the collar of the shirt the motive  “Legenden und Loyalität“ which means  "Legends and loyalty" and incorporated a picture of their most successful striker, Gerd Müller.

In addition to these design elements  the jersey has the latest technologies. As an alternative to the classic kit, players can choose the so-called adidas TechFit PowerWeb version, for the first time in the Bundesliga.
