Costa Rica have released a special and limited edition shirt, by Lotto, to be worn in the run up to the Brazil 2014 World Cup Finals.

To celebrate the side's qualification for the finals, the shirt features black and white stripes and is of a similar design to that worn in the team's second and third games during the Italia '90 World Cup, held in Italy in 1990.  The side debuted the kit - including white shorts and socks - at those finals, bearing a close similarity to that of Juventus, in a narrow defeat to Brazil at Juve's Stadio Delle Alpi in Turin, before wearing it again in the win against Sweden which took the Costa Ricans through to the second round.

The new Brazil football kit, by Nike, to be worn throughout 2014 and during the country's hosting of the Brazil 2014 World Cup, has been unveiled and will be available here.

The shirt is in the standard yellow and has green "Y-neck" collar and cuff trim as well as the Nike Swoosh logo in green and a stitched crest - with gold coloured metallic weave added for a shimmering effect and slightly enlarged.  Behind the crest is the legend “Nascido para jogar futebol” - Brasilian Portuguese for “Born to Play Football”.

Fifa - the Fédération Internationale de Football Association, the world football governing body - has announced a long-term extension to its partnership with the German sportswear giant, adidas.

adidas will remain Fifa's Official Partner, Supplier and Licensee for the FIFA World Cup and all Fifa events until 2030.

This is the new France Home football shirt and kit by Nike, for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, which will be available here.

France sneaked through to the finals by virtue of an exciting 3-0 victory against Ukraine at the Stade de France, overturning a 2-0 loss in the first leg.

It is being reported that Dutch club Ajax are in talks with Chinese telecom giant Huawei over the possibility of the company taking over as the Amsterdam side's shirt sponsor.

Vitesse of Arnhem will also, potentially, carry the Huawei logo next season.  Vitesse are currently without a sponsor and Ajax's deal with long-term partner Aegon ends in the summer.

This appears to be the new Netherlands Home shirt, by Nike, to be worn throughout 2014, including the Brazil 2014 World Cup.

The shirt is in orange - as is traditional - with what seems to be a geometric gradient effect watermark pattern.  This seems to be recalling the famous adidas shirt worn in the 1988 European Championship (Euro '88) triumph - Holland's finest hour in international football.  The Nike Swoosh and newly retro KNVB crest appear in white, and white also features on the underside of the cuffs (which are probably designed with the option of being turned up).

The shirt seems to be in gradient effect navy/blue with a geometric watermark pattern and newly retro KNVB crest which appears in orange.

These are the new Deportivo Independiente Medellín S.A. Centenary Home and Away shirts by Puma.

The Home shirt is in red with gold details and the away navy with red and gold.  The usual crest appears in the middle of each shirt with an anniversary seal on the chest and a 100th anniversary logo on the sleeve.
