Anderlecht wore their 84-85 home shirt in this match but took this new away shirt for the upcoming 1985-86 season with them to Eindhoven for this tournament that also included Austria Memphis.
The Belgian champions were defeated 1-0 here by a Ruud Gullit inspired PSV. The Purple & White's went on to retain their league title and reach the European Cup Semi Finals wearing this superb Adidas design.
