Australia defeated Argentina in Sydney, not Canberra. Also it was not a friendly, but rather the Bicentennial Gold Cup, featuring Australia, Argentina, Brazil and Saudi Arabia. Australia reached the final and played Brazil in this kit.

it was a friendly. just because you create a tournament of friendly matches doesn't mean that it is FIFA recognised tournament. they were all friendlies.
