Admiral 1980-83 England Home Shirt

Admiral 1980-83 England Home Shirt

The England home shirt produced by Admiral was worn between 1980 and 1983, including during the 1982 FIFA World Cup in Spain.

The shirt features a white base with a bold horizontal red and blue chest panel that extends across the shoulders. A V-neck collar trimmed in red, white, and blue complements the sleeve cuffs, maintaining the national colour theme. The embroidered Three Lions crest appears on the left chest, opposite the Admiral logo in red.

Constructed from lightweight polyester typical of early 1980s kits, this version marked one of the final designs from Admiral before England’s switch to Umbro. It remains closely associated with the squad that competed under Ron Greenwood, featuring players such as Bryan Robson, Trevor Brooking, and Kevin Keegan.
