Vidar Davidsen played for the full 90 minutes of this enjoyable encounter. Norway raced into a three goal lead inside 18 minutes but were pegged back just before half-time. Pal Jacobsen made 4-1 early in the second half before Mark Hughes got the visitors another and match ended 4-2. This great Hummel design was then used in the rest of the 1986 World Cup qualification campaign. Davidsen made 46 appearances scoring 5 goals for the NFF between 1979-86.
