Puma 1989-90 Malmo Match Issue European Cup Home Shirt

Malmo 1989-90 player shirt by Puma believed to have been issued to or match worn by a #10 between 1989 and 1990 when Di blåe reached the last 16 of the European Cup in both years where they were knocked out by KV Mechelen and Dynamo Dresden respectively.

Memorably in 1989 under the management of Roy Hodgson they beat Inter Milan 2-1 on aggregate in the 1st round, which included a 1-1 draw at the San Siro faced with a side which boasted German stars Brehme, Matthäus and Klinsmann as well as Inter legends such as Ferri and Bergomi. This would be the last time the side would compete in the European Cup until 2005.
