This is the brand new official Hi-Vis Premier League match ball, which be used during the winter months of the 09/10 season to increase visibility. The Nike T90 Ascente Hi-Vis EPL will be available through the FSC Shop.

Engineered to be the game's perfect sphere, the Nike T90 Ascente Hi-Vis EPL match ball stands alone in performance with exceptional visibility, explosive contrast and an outstanding all-over sweet spot for the ultimate shot placement and accuracy.

Geometric precision evenly distributes pressure across all panels for consistent, accurate, powerful strikes. Perfect sphericity allows the ball to fly faster, farther and more accurately. Asymmetrical high-contrast graphic creates an optimal flicker for powerful visual signals.

Mitre Delta, or do you remember the white fillies with the red stripe used in the old English first division years ago?

Mitre and Surridge made those in the late 70s. An early version to the Nike Total90 Aerow perhaps?

Mitre makes fantastic footballs, the Delta, Pro-Max, the Ultimax and ISO were great matchballs.

adidas\' best balls were the Tango, Etrusco Unico, Questra and the Terrestra, Fevernova was a great design but way too light. The current +Teamgeist balls are horrible, although the current Finale C.L. ball is perhaps the best one since the Tango. The Telstar set the benchmark.

Nike\'s best ball was the Geo series, especially the Merlin, that ball flew fantastically.

Looks like it dropped out of the sky from a sci fi movie....when the hatch opens loads of tiny aliens pop out and run around the pitch......horrible and all time low in ball design. Nike is rank

We never, ever had a problem back in the 80s and 90s with white balls in winter unless it was snowing, when the red/orange one would come on, and this was in a time when pitches generally weren\'t as good as they are now.

So in short, the yellow winter ball is a money-making scam.

Right...ive had enough with the high VIZ!! footballs during the winter term worldwide. Reason being its just pointless...well if it was snowing during a game then yeah wicked idea but during a sunny day? And the purple mixing with the yellow? reminds me of a cadbury caramel tbh
