In Milanello, adidas proudly brought together two of the most decorated sporting teams in the world, seven time European Cup winners AC Milan and the nine time Tri Nations champions the All Blacks.

In commemoration of the unique meeting a celebratory jersey has been created combining the red of AC Milan and the black of the New Zealand Rugby Union. These jerseys are available at adidas retail stores throughout Italy.

The two teams gathered on the same pitch to test each other’s skills during an event where the All Blacks, including Captain Richie McCaw and fly half Dan Carter, tried to master the round ball while Kaká and Alessandro Nesta endeavour to control its oval counterpart.

It is not just about rugby or football – the event is a celebration of sport, passion and skill showcased by some of the world’s most notable athletes. Sporting moments are often referred to as art in motion but the combined talents of champions such as AC Milan and the All Blacks could well be called a masterpiece.

Every free kick, conversion, line out or penalty performed by players contributed to creating a painting, as paint-filled balloons explode with the force of the balls on to a canvas

The artwork was autographed by all the participating players and donated to the Milan Charity Foundation for an on-line auction.

Funds raised from the sale of this artwork will go towards the Milan Charity Foundation project which supports children affected by vascular diseases attending the Buzzi Hospital in Milan.

This isn\'t good enough! This is nowhere near the level of randomness that I require! Ridiculously brilliant.

Good to see Gattuso enjoying a good scrap, as usual!

Next month : The Romanian rugby team are joining up with the seven time world Tiddlywinks champions - The Philadelphia Flippers.

The all blacks are actually 3 teams now Samoa, Tonga with a few kiwis thrown in for good measure....and they always bottle it in the world cup...Shame one of the Tongan terminators couldn\'t demolish that over rated twat Gattuso.
Perhaps Nike could do a similar thing with Ronaldo meeting the Bolshoi ballet in a pre season kick/dance/dive about

Roginho You\'re a complete idiot!!!!! All those guys grew up and played all their rugby in NZ - unlike whatever nazi state you hail from!!!!In NZ when you live there you become a New Zealander. NZ is a country located in the South Pacific you moron - where do you expect the migrants to hail from!!!!????

Just for the record-- Look and the Samoan and Tongan teams and see how many of those players were actually born in bred in NZ- YOU MASSIVE TOOL!!

I see another anonymous twat from some small insignificant south sea island whose mother is his own sister and is so brave that he chooses to remain anonymous has graced us with his presence. Actually a great deal of New Zealanders are of Scottish ancestry you thick necked ,in bred, sheep loving, tatooed muppet. The England team did field 2 KIWIS and they were both crap too but clearly they left that country because of its small minded mentally as demonstrated by your good self. This is a football website were you looking for the Childrens BBC website and got lost along the way
