Nike 'Take It To The Next Level' by Guy Ritchie

E-mail

This great advert shows the journey of a young football player from his beginnings in non-league football through to competing at the highest level for his country from a first person perspective which makes the viewer feel they are part of the action.

Nike just released the full version (2 minutes) of a spot for the upcoming UEFA 2008 European Championship football. The 'Take It To The Next Level' commercial is directed by Guy Ritchie and shows a first person journey through several teams and players, including Ruud van Nistelrooy, Wesley Sneijder, Cesc Fabregas, William Gallas, Wayne Rooney, Cristiano Ronaldo, Marco Materazzi, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Nani and Arsene Wenger.

I really really liked that commercial...
Would be cooler if the played had have 43 instead of 45, because that would fit a bit better, as Nacer Barazite is dutch and young... Though it fails on the first club in the ad not being NEC

What an advert. I saw it on TV first. I thought it would never end. Doubley good as im an Arsenal fan (aren\'t we all?). Possibly better than the Brazil vs Portugal one. So many players in it. I was so suprised to randomly see Wenger at the beginning in the Sunday league game. Still, a bit fake for a Sunday league player to be Dutch. Surely he would be English. Guy Ritchie didin\'t htink that through did he.

If you look close, the sponser on the sunday league shirt is some dutch computer company, so I dont think its a english sunday league, but probably some lower tier dutch team.

The \"sunday league club\" is actually VV Noordwijk, a saturday amateur club from The Netherlands: http://www.vvnoordwijk.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=444&Itemid=1

Edwin van der Sar is probably their most famous former player.

Yeah, the club in the white/red kit you see at the beginning is VV Noordwijk, a saturday amateur club from The Netherlands.
It shows HIPCO computers Noordwijk as sponsor on the shirt, even though it isn\'t really the head sponsor. It is one of the sponsors though.
I\'m proud to be able to pla for VV Noordwijk!
