League president Dr. Reinhard Rauball and the CEO of adidas Herbert Hainer have unveiled the first ever official football for the Bundesliga which will be used in the upcoming season. They made the announcement from Germany's headquarters in Pretoria and it is the first official football in the history of the Bundesliga.

The design is centered around the official Bundesliga colours of white and red and will also feature a copy of the official league logo. The ball, which will be used for the first time on 7th August when FC Bayern München come up against FC Schalke 04 in the Supercup, has been christened "Torfabrik" ("Goal Material") and will be available in stores starting on 1st July.

To accompany their Elite Series football boots Nike have launched this Nike T90 Tracer Elite Series match ball which is available Here.

It will only be produced with high-visibility neon trim – which, according to Nike’s Labs, makes the ball easier to track during it’s flight – hence the name ‘Tracer‘.

Other features include the micro-textured casing on the ball. This equalises airflow all around the ball when it’s in flight and improves control when it’s on the ground.

Umbro introduced the new NeoPro match ball, which is built to provide a ‘truer’ flight than any of its predecessors. How can it do that? There’s a number of reasons.

First of all, the NeoPro is cut using laser technology, which provides greater grip when you hit the ball, and a smoother flight through the air as it flies towards goal. The wives and girlfriends of seven international football stars have been shot by legendary photographer Rankin for a stunning global advertising campaign to promote Umbro’s new World Champions Collection.

Abbey Clancy, the girlfriend of England striker Peter Crouch, has joined six other women who, like her, currently or previously have either dated or married an international footballer.  And to make it even more relevant to this summer’s event, each girl represents one of the seven countries that have ever won the world’s biggest football tournament - Argentina, Brazil, England, France, Germany, Italy and Uruguay.

To celebrate the world’s greatest football tournament, this summer Umbro has released the World Champions Collection.  This truly inspired football range has been designed in collaboration with some of the hottest international artists, each hailing from one of the seven nations that have ever won the tournament.  The twist in the brief to them was to base their design on the tailored silhouette of the Umbro England home shirt.

When Umbro launched the England home shirt in March 2009 they redefined replica and this kit will arguably make England the best-dressed team this summer. Based on the heralded canvas of the home shirt, this latest collection honours the football cultures of the seven champion nations – Argentina, Brazil, England, France, Germany, Italy and Uruguay.

The Mitre Tensile match ball is the first of its kind and will be used in all Football League and Scottish Premier League (SPL) matches from the beginning of the 2010/11 season.

This is the new 10 panel Mitre Tensile football, made with an aerodynamic outer to ensure high performance use in all conditions and has over 30% less stitching.

Hand stitched, the Tensile Mitre football ball comes designed from a Clarino micro fibre material, featuring cincap lining for outstanding balance, grip and control in the most demanding conditions.

This is Umbro’s new 2010 tonal range. Using the same design principles as the England Away kit, these pieces are made using the same techniques: the three distinct panels made from three different, complimentary materials, each one designed to cater for the needs of that specific part of the body.

They’ve just been crafted using some subtlely different colours. The victoria blue used on the shirt above is also featured on a new drill top and an Anthem jacket which you can see below. Also featured in the tonal range are the red drill top, and the England Away shirt with some subtle differences to the Umbro logo and the England crest. This is the new Nike TOTAL 90 TRACER Match ball which will be used in the Premier League, Serie A and Spanish Primera Division next 10/11 season.

The T90 TRACER will be used from 01 Jul 2010 until 30 Jun 2011, and will be available through the FSC Shop once they are officially launched.
