adidas jabulani MLS 2010 match ball

adidas and MLS unveiled the new MLS Official Match Ball which will be available here, during live coverage of the 2010 MLS SuperDraft on ESPN2. The MLS ball features the same technology and radical new design as the adidas "JABULANI", the Official Match Ball for the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa. adidas has been the provider of MLS match balls since 2006, consistently keeping with the blue, green and silver color scheme highlighted in the MLS logo.

The newly developed "Grip'n'Groove" profile enables an exceptionally stable flight and perfect grip under all weather conditions. Comprised of only eight completely new, thermally bonded 3-D panels, which for the first time are spherically molded, make the ball perfectly round and the most accurate ball to date.

3-D panel shapes:
The adidas MLS Official Match Ball features a completely new, ground-breaking technology. Eight 3-D spherically formed EVA and TPU panels are molded together, harmoniously enveloping the inner carcass. The result is an energetic unit combined with perfect roundness. Players all over the world are enthusiastic about the design and are promising many goals with this new ball.

Aero grooves:
Aero grooves create the clearly visible profile on the ball's surface. The Grip'n'Groove profile circles round the entire ball in an optimal aerodynamic way. The integrated grooves provide unmatched flight characteristics, making this the most stable and most accurate adidas ball ever. The ground-breaking performance features of the ball have been confirmed in comprehensive comparison tests at Loughborough University in England and countless checks in the wind tunnel and the adidas football laboratory in Scheinfeld, Germany.

Grip:
Since the introduction of the "goose bumps" surface for the last European Championship ball, the microtexture of the new ball's outer skin has also been given a visible facelift. The ball has a futuristic texture with fantastic grip, giving players full control over the ball under all weather conditions.

In the future, adidas will continue to use innovative technology to extend its world-leading position in football production and thus strengthen its position as the authentic symbol of high-performance sporting goods for professionals and amateurs alike. adidas also intends to unveil more revolutionary innovations in match ball production for future MLS, UEFA, FIFA and CAF competitions. The adidas innovation team (aIT) is already working on innovations for the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil™.

The 2010 MLS Official Match Ball will be available in Here February 1st onwards

Some teams in the Bundesliga have already been using an ORANGE Hi-Vis Jabulani for snowy games.

Ive always have been a fan of the colours of the mls league matchballs. This one is awsome too ^^. But i do have to stay that this seasons nike footballs are just too far, its like they tried too hard and they've lost the simplicity of ball design. However its the football that counts most
