England Umbro 2010 Tonal Range

This is Umbro’s new 2010 tonal range. Using the same design principles as the England Away kit, these pieces are made using the same techniques: the three distinct panels made from three different, complimentary materials, each one designed to cater for the needs of that specific part of the body.

They’ve just been crafted using some subtlely different colours. The victoria blue used on the shirt above is also featured on a new drill top and an Anthem jacket which you can see below. Also featured in the tonal range are the red drill top, and the England Away shirt with some subtle differences to the Umbro logo and the England crest. The range will be available through the FSC Shop.

Thanks to Mark

Great looking range. Umbro are being innovative in the past year whereas Addidas, Nike and Puma seem to be producing bland indenti-kits galore.

what a sensation, sensational job Umbro have done for england and thats coming from a scotsman.

In a world of asymetrical ugly design for the sake of it kits umbro have produced a range that is well thought out, respectful to tradition but at the same time with a modern twist.

Brilliant range wish theyd got the Scotland contract.

I know umbro is taking a great new approach to making kits but this design concept is getting old and dull. And I think these are training tops without sponsors

old and dull? lol, this new cotton design was just introduced this season!! If you want old and dull, look right at Adidas and Puma...

Old and dull? Have you seen the Puma shirts for Ghana, Ivory Coast, and Cameroon? They look terrible compared to these, mind you, but England have the dull shirts while Africa wears inventive kits.

You're not wrong, 'tonal range' is just marketing bullshit for 'training kit'.

In the strange corporate World we live in, United are 'still' with them in a sense, as Nike own Umbro - you just need to swich companies internally

a cheaper version of the England away shirt.
I will buy it because I am not paying nearly 50 quid for a shirt.
Good shirts. I like them

I'd like to think England would use this as a third kit if they play the likes of Paraguay.

It's been too long since we've seen England in a light blue third kit.

I think those look spot on, but I agree with ChelseaBlueBoy - if Umbro are going to release a range of fan wear in different colours to the England Away, they need to cut the prices a bit. Umbro shirts are already (understandably) more expensive - they don't want a reputation for fleecing the fans.

i LOVE the fact, that the stitching has the same color of the textile!!!

red on red
white on white
SUPERB!!!

much much better than adidas-stripes all over the kit.
or the lotto-puma-kappa logos all over the sleeves etc...
