"Keep changing the kit", that's what football fans voted in a poll to find out how often fans would like football clubs to change their football kits.
Replacing football kits annually topped the list with 43% of the votes ahead of a bi-annual change (41%).
Footy-Boots.com editor Andy Kay said: "Football clubs have been taking a bit of stick for releasing football shirts so frequently, so we wanted to see what our vistors had to say. It's pretty clear that they appreciate new merchandise being released regularly."
The poll conducted on Footy-boots.com had 1,000 votes with the following results:
Annually - 43% ---Every 2 years - 41% --- Every 3 years - 11% --- More than 3 years - 5%
Of the 20 teams in the Premier League this season, just two teams will be keeping their home shirts from last year, Manchester United and Newcastle United.
The trend for clubs to change their football kits regularly is well received by fans, despite protests suggesting that football clubs are taking advantage of their supporters.

Theres a credit crunch on you know
I am quite surprised by the annual football shirt change, it proves that diehard fans will support and wear their clubs colours every year and wouldn
On the other hand, changing kits every year means we\'ll only have to put up with our embarrasment of a kit for a year...
If someone selects \"Annually\" are they voting for:
a) all their side\'s kits to change each year
b) the home kit to change each year, or
c) just one of the kits to change each year (such as home kit one year, away kit the next)?
Garbage in, garbage out.
