Two David Beckham fans, aged 9 and 10, are suing each other over a shirt that the football star handed to the crowd after a LA Galaxy game agains Japan's Gamba Osaka at Hawaii's Aloha Stadium. The nine-year-old reportedly grabbed it first and a fight followed with his best friend who claims it was meant for him. The boys’ parents also got into the fight and hired lawyers, reports the Mirror.co.uk

The nine-year-old boy’s father Wilfred Ho said: "My son got it first from Mr Beckham directly. Our main argument for the jersey is that my son got possession."

But the older boy’s parents say Beckham told their son that he wanted him to have it. The 10-year-old’s father said: "Mr Beckham pointed out he wanted our son to have it and it’s been really hard on him. He’s such a big star and it’s one heck of an experience for the boys."

With Becks unavailable for comment LA Galaxy president and general manager, Alexei Lalas perhaps has a solution.

"I suggest that they get a pair of scissors, cut the thing in two and give half to each."

"This is not something we'd want to happen-and certainly not something David would intend."

If it was a shirt belonging to a decent player, like Nicky Forster, Dean Cox or Michel Kuipers then one could understand their intent to get it, but it was only David Beckham...get over it!

Difficult decision for Mr Beckham. Too many fans (from the first picture) to cater for. Tough decision. Girl in the white dress? Yes, I would give her one.

Agree with Gully. Although I was thinking more along the lines of Guy Butters.

If you look at the first picture none of the two kids fighting over it actually touched it first which is funny, the second picture the kid that actually touched it first is behind the Japanese kid,so in all fairness those two which are fighting should surrender the shirt to the other kid.Beckham will most likely prevent the parents sueing each other by sending them both autograph jerseys. But overall the whole thing is a farce and the parents are childish and should act there age.
