Brilliant idea, again don't like the font, and would've preferred to see the crest yoive used on the back collar on the chest, but all in all,a great concept

The Protea crest needs to be on the front of the shirt, and it does not look right with it on the back of the shirt, pretty bad placement there. Also, despite the other colours youve added from the South African flag on the gold chestband, this should not really be the home kit, it looks a little too pre 1994 I feel. Its a good attempt though. A similar design, in either gold or white, and with the Protea on the front where it belongs, and that would be a great shirt

For all RSA teams in 2008, the Protea is placed on the left hand side of the Jersey, this was done in order to have a neutral symbol over the heart for all the teams, as the Springbok had apartheid associations.

not sure if you read the description but the shirt is not intended to be either home or away... with regards to colour, all other south african sports teams wear green as their predominant colour so i don't see a problem with bafana bafana doing the same. i have made some tweaks and adjustments though and uploaded a more up to date kit

Its just that the Green jersey was seen as a symbol of the apartheid regime, and football is the most popular sport for the black population in South Africa, so a Green and gold shirt in the same shades as those used by the Rugby team might not be the best move. Mandela wearing the RSA Rugby Jersey in 1995 was seen as a reconcilliation, but not sure if an SA Football shirt in the same shades would be a good idea. I read the description, and you did say "you decide"

This is really cool, I like the colours you've used.
But I think it would look better with a different font.
