Nike Mercurial Vapor IV Citron

French international Franck Ribery starred in a viral video promoting them and Arsenal striker Niklas Bendtner debuted them in the Premier League before professing that he’d always dreamed of playing in pink football boots.

But has Bendtner’s dream already died and has Franck Ribery followed him by ditching the very product he was pushing just a couple of weeks ago?

Both players decided to turn out in the new Vapor colourway, the Citron as it made its Champions League bow across Europe this week, used by a host of top stars including the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Adriano. Cristiano Ronaldo has also trialled the new colourway during a Manchester United training session.

The Citron colourway is available for delivery early next year from 12/01/2009 and the SL version in February. You can pre-order the Mercurial Vapor Citron in the FSC shop while our visitors from North America will be able to buy them here

That\'s what I thought, but in the English language, Citron is a green fruit. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Citron

Citroën would be a better name, cos they fall apart and struggle to take corners.

your all suckers that fall for this marketing s***, you cant even say the boot looks good regardless of the colour, all this bulls*** they say .....it\'ll make you faster, outclass your opposition, .... yea right! suckers!
the boot is ugly, synthetic, and if any pro could choose there boot. it\'ll prob be a copa mundial, unless the footballer wears diamond earings.

I agree with anonymous these are absolute shite !
Never has a company produced so much crap and had so many fools fall for it just because of fancy colours and marketing drivel....Please have a word with yourself before buying these. Puma king, Adidas World cup are proper boots... Nike actually make a few which are quite good. Don\'t be a sheep and don\'t fall for all this bullshit..

these are the lightest boots on the market so compared to any other cleats your sprints will be a tad faster which can make a difference. all you who come here to diss the boots f*** off let the people who like them buy them

What does it matter what you think? personally i think they are a great boot and owning both the copa mundial and the new vapours i see no difference in the boot. only that of the speed a pair of vapuors allows me to have. good players play well with confidence. obviously talent itself holds a key part to play but when you have amazing design at your feet which provide a comfortable, lightweight and perfect fit then thats when you begin to play at your best. look at todays premiership. Gabby Agbonlahor wears the vapours as many other players in the prem. but he plays with confidence and im sure he wouldnt play anywere near aswell wearing a pair of heavy copas\'.

the colors look bad but i'm on my second pair and i first got the nike mecurial vapor sl in red and gold and they look sick! i had to go and buy a pair of these citron ones because they no longer sell my red and gold color, and i love the feel and preformance of these cleats too much to try any others at the moment. Great cleats, few good colors tho, best cleats i've ever owned habds down!
