Umbro GT II Pro football boots

Soon to be seen on the feet of stars such as Spurs and England defender Kyle Walker and Sunderland’s young England striker Connor Wickham, and available here, the new Umbro GT II pro boot is designed for the player who likes to stand out on the pitch.

Building on the innovations of the original Umbro GT boot, the new upgrade is our lightest boot yet, with uppers crafted from a Japanese micro-fibre to provide both softness and strength, while the asymmetric concealed lacing providing a greater strike zone.

The GT II is built on a new anatomical last, designed to provide a better fit, whilst also reducing the weight of the boots. The FG version of the boot even features hollowed out blades to further lighten the load. The SG version you see here has aerospace engineered aluminium studs to keep the lightweight theme running throughout the GT II Pro.

The graphics and the colourways for the new Umbro GT II have been inspired by the idea of speed and movement, with this launch design officially termed ‘blue radiance/orange popsicle’. It’s a look that’s sure to get you noticed on the pitch, and captures the idea behind the GT perfectly: ‘Who Dares Wins’.

Um, is it just me or are these just nikes with the name changed? (and yes, I am aware that nike now owns umbro, but c'mon)

All that's missing from these are the following: an orange stripe down the middle, a Gulf logo, and a white circle with the number 20 in it.

Probably why they called them GT's. Good spot! :)

I'm surprised Ford don't call the lawyers out!

I don't like it. And with those orange stripes on the laces side of the shoe they clearly took some inspiration from Adidas' F50.

Umbro was the Speciali, the XAI range.

These are god-awful, just a cut-price, inferior Mercurial for the Sports Direct mob.

Times are hard. People are being made redundant left, right and centre. We're on the verge of economic collapse and people like you are buying £200 Nike football boots (that cost 50p to produce in some sweatshop.)

Now ask yourself: who's the real idiot here?

Is that light green, or really off-colour white because of the photo quality?

Its light blue, or 'blue radiance' as it says in the article, if you'd bothered to read it.

These are the most underrated boots on the market!!! just as good if not better than the Mercurial Vapors. Plus, everybody wears Nike so its starting to get boring.
