Puma Argentina V

E-mail

puma-argentina-v.jpg

The Puma Argentina was first introduced in 1978, in recognition of 10 PUMA players who helped steer Argentina to World Cup victory. From a country so synonyms with football glory, a legacy inspired this cult classic and etched itself into terrace history.

Originally built as a lightweight court shoe, aptly accented with the national colours of the Argentinean flag - blue and white, the Argentina’s simple pattern and low profile was lovingly adopted by UK terrace fans throughout the dominance of the English teams in European football.

An understated classic, the Puma Argentina V has a white nylon upper with suede and leather detailing in cream and red as well as that substantial sole that gives it that distinctive look. Available at Hanon

I know what you mean. The thick sole doesn\'t seem to suit the colour scheme as well as in the original versions. http://www.sneakerfreaker.com/feature/puma_argentina/3/

Looks an awful lot like the Puma Vilas tennis shoe, not much difference at all.

How dull what a boring old design that is.!! And as ZAX says what has it got to do with football...my boy has some new trainers shall i post an article about them....they are called DEKS and cost me 10 squid at my local shoe shop . W THOMAS & SON Ltd bargain and he loves them ,black with double velcro fastening which is ideal for an active 4 year old who needs that extra speed to get out of the house in order to play in the garden .They have the added advantage of ankle supports which enable him to jump in puddles without getting wet feet and big chunky grip which should enable him to climb trees quicker . But the best bit is the built in air bags on the heel which means he can now bounce higher than TIGGER !!! Beat that you muppets from PUMA what self respecting 4 year old would be seen dead in PUMA with a red stripe, its for gay students and people called shaggy...yikes !
