an original shirt worn by Ernst Hufschmid in Switzerland's first FIFA World Cup finals appearance in Italy in 1934.

The Swiss Sports Museum's Football Memories project is taking a new look at the nation's footballing heritage in the run up to co-hosting UEFA EURO 2008. Switzerland won the silver medal in the 1924 Olympic football tournament, losing 3-0 to Uruguay in the final in Paris.

Nike Dunk Low Mercurial R9

In celebration of Euro 2008, Nike is creating many football inspired makeups of the Dunk including this pair made to resemble Ronaldo’s signature boots on not only the upper but also the sole. Like the Nike Mercurial R9, these Dunks also feature Zoom Air.

His Brazilian inspired silver, blue and yellow colourway would be the catalyst for Nike as they set out to create a full fledged direction behind the Mercurial line. Keeping consistent with Nike's recent trends, the look of various models have been lifted and superimposed on the Dunk. Available in June with a suggested price of $125 USD.
