Malaysia in Nike until 2011
Following recent deals with football bodies in Australia and Indonesia, Nike has announced a four-year sponsorship of the Football Association of Malaysia. The sportswear company will provide the main attire for all national teams and also contribute to youth development programs.
The contract has an option for renewal for another five years. The partnership began last night with the unveiling of the national team shirt which will be worn by the senior side in the ASEAN Football Federation Championship, beginning in Bangkok.

Michael and Albrech Ludwig Messmer found the factory/company "Messmer & Co." in a backyard in the Hamburg village of Eppendorf in 1919. The Messmer family produces sporting goods and quite extraordinarily the family can offer rubber outsoles in their line of handball and football footwear.
The name hummel is used for the first time in 1923 connection with sporting goods when the Messmer family launches a collection which contains football boots and shoes for cycling, athletics and handball
