Interesting site. I've always kept an eye on it, especially over the busy summer months when the football goes quiet and the kit marketing goes into overdrive. Hence why I'm sharing.

I see some shirts and strips before they're actually released to the public, but generally I'm in the same boat as you guys.

I'm PA to an MD at a leading sports clothing retailer (not going to be any more specific for the time being). My boss has seen several designs of the new England first strip, and also several fakes. The ones 'revealed' on this site recently he found particularly amusing.

Anyway, cutting to the chase, the design attached below did the rounds amongst the big cheeses here a few weeks ago and - although he won't say for certain - my boss has strongly implied that this will indeed be the new shirt. I'm trying to get hold of a picture of a person wearing or holding it, which I think I eventually will, but it's enough to whet your interests I'm sure.

thats quite nice actually. a grower. love the neck.
i'd love it if it was true and england were to have a proper white and red strip. not white and navy blue.

I agree their should alwas be more red than there normally is in England strips old.

Should reflect the flag as standard.

Hate it. It's typical umbro nastyness. Looks cheap and tacky. Why do umbro continue to get the England kit contract from the FA time after time? Is someone paying/getting back-handers for it? That's the only thing I can think of cos every fan I speak to hates umbro and their designs. However, I'd hate to see the Nike 'swoosh' on an England kit and think their recent kit designs are lazy and tacky.

A point about the kit having more red than blue on it: Why? Holland and Italy (to name just 2) don't wear kits in the colours of their flag so why should we? Do we really want our kits to look like Poland's or Turkey's? England have a red & white away kit so leave the home as it is. Stick with white and navy with just touches of red. Simple. Classy. Traditional.

I still think the one one the site is the most convincing, I mean how will they have got the barcode to link to an actual umbro mobile site that is under construction.

The picture you have posted uses too much of previous umbro designs to be England's new kit, don't forget that England is Umbro's biggest selling shirt and they always use it to promote their newest designs which then then use on other shirts in the following season.

This one has a collar which has been used on several umbro kits before first one that springs to mind is an old Everton shirt.



It also has the umbro diamonds on the shoulders which were on the previous umbro England kit, from past experiences umbro don't repeat themselves with England kits.

Still it is the barcode on the picture posted which is the biggest give away that it is the real shirt which got leaked as well as all the parts of it being unique to just that shirt and never being seen before on any other umbro kit.
