Do people think that credit crunch time will mean less sales of shirts, less sales meaningh less sponcership, less sponcerships meaning that clubs are less willing to change their kits every season. the Chelsea kit rumour has suprised me, and also the fact Liverpool have 3 kits when 2 will do .

The most of English teams are changing homekit every season except, Arsenal, Liverpool, Newcastle and Man Utd. Away kit is changing every season. And this will continue. Just look at training collection for manU, Arsenal, barcelona they are changing 2 times this season, one autum and one spring collection. If the clubs still want big sponsordeal they have to do that, if not, less money to buy top players, the result can be poorer, the stockholders will make less money. this is not just the clubs, but f.ex Nike will sell less kits and spin-off products and can not pay that sort of money if the productline isn´t changing. Remember that kits are fashion.

My opinion.

John, thanks for that yeah interesting, remembering that Liverpool had Euro kits and Euro collections, all more or less the same but with a slight difference here and there.
I can see and understand what you are saying, plus of course they do have 2 sets ofd training kits when 1 will do and yes it is just fashion(this site is verification to a certain extent!) the next couple(only will be a couple I reckon) will say allot.Because there will always be those who slag off their teams shirt but buy it anyway, and those who will buy an Inter,Barca away shirt because they like the design they could be the ones who do not bother any more.
Also how long before Umbro becomes Nike and Reebok become Adidas?

But there is one thing I can`t understand, that is some clubs, like; Hull City, Stoke, WBA, West Ham, Leeds f.ex, they are just selling there kits and other merchandise in club shop only, and they are always out of stock, and if you live outside GB like myself, it´s almost impossible to get those shirts. When they can`t handle the logistic system, why not sell it to those who can. More focus on the club, more they will sell I guess. I also think if f.ex Le coq sell 5000 shirts to Stoke, if they have sold to all shops/e-commerce comapny, maybe sold 10000 or even more, then Stoke could get more out of the deal with Le Coq than just 2 mill GBP or what ever they get.

Have you tried Subside Sports, club-website (that is where I can get Reading stuff if need be).
You are so right regards to their missed oppertuninties.
Are there not say Subside Sports Spanish,French versions etc?
It is wierd because you can get some continental kits to Blighty so you would have thought it would be the same in Europe, if not is there a kindly Gran,Mum,Dad, etc who can get that Stoke kit for you?
I agree that yes they would increase their sponsership prices whatever if they did sell abroad. Have they not heard of Lee Chapman?

Best of luck with it....
