Saw this on the Umbro website and there quite a few sneaky glimpses of what appears to be the new shirt, which looks plain white with a polo shirt style collar. Umbro badge is red which is the only colouring on the shirt even the star is white....

From the video on the Umbro website it also looks like the shorts are white. And it's back to red numbers.

The goalie's top looks like plain green.

I think it was mentioned on some other thread that the goalie shirt is "Racing Green"...FWIW.

I am very unsure now as to what the real kit is, the original one that was leaked was very convincing to get details so minute such as the barcode which even linked to the umbro website.

Now watching these video's seeing the players wearing the 'actual' shirt is making me doubt it. Although since umbro did say they want it to be an exclusive unveiling at the Slovakia match, I wouldn't have thought they'd have given that much away in videos. Which sort makes me think these could be decoys or something they just had the players wear for the tailoring purposes they mentioned in the videos.

Iv been following the blog for months, as an Italian living in england I have never bought an England shirt not because of my dislike of the three lions but mainly because in terms of beauty the England kits have never compared to the Italian kits. Im afraid that the tables have turned, the Conferation Cup Italy kit looks a disaster whereas this England shirt has all of the qualities i look for in a kit. Cannot wait till its fully revealed and on sale.

There's 'classic' and then there's simply a lack of imagination. How they can expect people to pay £40+ for that is beyond me, Disgraceful! I could get a plain white polo shirt for £5 in Primark!

It seems to follow all the sketch pictures that are in the videos and also look like what Terry and James are wearing in the interviews.

I totally agree with the above posters comments, they crossed the boundary in terms of simplicity I think.

I think it looks really nice. Not sure about the collar though.

Quick thought off the top of my mind, Lacoste manage to get people to pay a shit load for their plain polo shirts, so surely they've seen that marketing plan and rolled with it.

After watching the videos on umbros site I think there's a lot of clever stuff in the design that isn't apparent in the bad photo we've got so far. Lots to do with how the fit works and material - it all sounds a lot better then a polo shirt. Still want to see it for real though or at least get a better picture with some close ups. I think the crest shot is really cool - if the whole shirt is that detailed that would be awesome. Here's hoping.
