To get this new competition system rolling we have come up with the idea of taking an old classic, bringing it back from the dead and giving it a timely update.
Their is talk of a possible new New York franchise for the MLS in the future and equally big rumours that this could be a comeback for the New York Cosmos who played in the NASL (North American Soccer League) for about 14 years before dissolving, but in that time they managed to sign up some of the world best players at the time, the likes of Pelé, Franz Beckenbauer, Carlos Alberto even though to the latter stage in their careers they still raised awareness of the game in the States.
So what I am looking for, is a logo with a modern feel to it which wouldn't look out of place with the rest of the present day MLS logos but also it must have aspects of the old logo and still be true to the original club.

Present the logos however you like but they will only be judged as a standalone logo. Lastly please post any questions you have about this here or just send me a private message.
