Does anybody know of a texture making tutorial apart from this one www.fmglive.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=4592 as it doesn't seem to be working. I would like to start adding texture to my kits, but a bit more cartoony than the SS'09 textures. Thanks in advance.

For your style of kits now, I think adding an actual texture to it would look silly. It will be hard to find a tutorial for the actual purpose of making fabric like a shirt, but I found one using displacement maps for making flags look more photo realistic which may help you a bit, of course apply the techniques in the tutorial for your gains.

Good job I forgot to post the link really, I just read the tutorial and it doesn't show you how to make a texture at all, just how to use a texture to displace an image. Here it is to see what I am on about www.dphotojournal.com/photoshop-tutorial-displacement-maps/ If I find anything useful though I will post it up.

Ok thanks for that, and I posted this before I started on the new style. A style I think I will continue with for a while.
