Aston Villa shirt price. 3 Years, 11 Months ago

Why do Aston Villa tops always cost so much? I understand with them having Acorns as a sponsor they want to get them as much money as possible but even last year it was around 45 quid.
Why the high cost?

I think you'll find that's the going rate for all Nike's tops.... and pretty much every new PL team shirt.
And they do it because we will pay it.... It's a monopoly, if you want your teams new kit, you have only one choice....

Last season's Hull City shirt was £42.99, and we were a CCC side back then. And out kit's were by Umbro (and still are). And not that Umbro kits are bad, I'm just saying that not just Nike's kits are expensive.

Not all Premier League tops are a rip-off - Man City shirts have been £30 for the last two seasons, and the brand new kits are still only £30.
I'm sure some goon will reply with something originally comical along the lines of 'yerr but they is shit, innit', but they don't rip their fans off when it come to shirt prices, which is a fairly decent thing I reckon.
