I m not an expert but I can give you sme info on that: in the beggining 1977, during pre-78 world cup and qualifiers, Brazil started to use some shirts without the 3 stripes but clearly more brighten than previous ones - possibly they were made by Adidas or Erima, coming from abroad. Later, end 1977 and friendly matches in 78, the Adidas shirt finally arrived with the 3 stripes, flcok numbers but without the trifoil logo.
Judging for the numbers design - 3 stripes, but thinner and longer - , they still were coming from Europe. Very close to the WC 78, Adidas Brazil produced the shirts (as well as peru and others) but possibly - I m almost very very sure of that - the one used on WC78 were made in Europe (Ventex ? - possibly because experienced cold weather conditions found in Argentina and a large number on the back) and they were no so bright as the ones made locally . The trefoil logo on the shirt arrived in 79, and they were made in Brazil shirts.
In general, I supect that long sleeves shirts were, on that period, always made in Europe - on friendly matches even in 1979 - due technology, so they ve got Ventex on that specific case.
Personally I ve never saw a Brazil shirt with Erima tag - in fact, if it happened, it was during the first steps of dealing process but , Adidas established in Brazil supporting teams locally still in 1977, I believe this Erima shirt could never have happened as , with Mr Havelange , brazilian FIFA president, the company itself aproached to him trying to get exclusive deals with old Brazilian federation CBD (who was also responsible for others sports, as we can see on Olympic games shirts in 1976 and 1980) , but failed to get a prompt deal as there were some local issues concerning sponsors and design prohibited at the time - and it was a way to get more money from the sponsors to surpass this government clause - you know, soccer is almost a national security donw here - and it was a military regime in Brazil, so whole process to getting Adidas company logo on the team went very slowly.
No doubt they were the best looking set in Brazil soccer history (in my opinion , loses only for the Holand 74/78 set) - in fact, the shirt was not so yellow - they were almost gold, which made the set very nice live (even the blue one) and on TV.
The CBD logo and stars were embroided, the numbers and trefoil were flocked - made in Brazil, it has possibly a number 10 on white tag (it was the local L size).
You can find some in very match worn (they ve never went to be sold to the public at the time ) in nice conditions here for 500 ~ 1.500 dollars but be carefull, as you can get replicas.They are collectable even here.
