I recently purchased a 1998 Italy World Cup kit.
It looks great and from what I can remember and find online it looks
like an official Nike product. However the only thing I find out of the ordinary
is that in all pictures of players in the jersey there is no Nike "swoosh" on the right chest but in my jersey and in all that I can find for sale, there is a swoosh on the chest.
Did Nike place their symbol only on the kits sold for fans?
Does anyone know of ways to verify that this is an official Nike product and not a third party ripoff?

The shirt looks official Nike and the replica version had the Nike swoosh on them. The Italian national team shirts as worn by the players never had the kit suppliers logo on their shirts until 1998 when they switched from Nike to Kappa after the World Cup.

They only sell official replicas. And there are a lot of differences between yours.

From that site the only thing I can see different is the Nike tag on the lower left of the jersey and mine has a "Nike Fit" tag on the lower right.
Also where would Nike's official replicas be made?
Im not too worried if this turns out to be fake, as it looks great but going forward I'd love to learn how to spot the small differences better.
